I played in 14 straight interprovincial golf tournaments 7 for Northern Transvaal, 7 for Southern Transvaal. During this time I captained the Transvaal Golf team as well as the Northern and Southern teams. I think during this time I won about 15 tournaments, as well as 4 Club Championships at Zwartkop CC, and 3 at Royal Johannesburg CC.

Turning professional late in golfing terms I had moderate success on the Sunshine Tour, progressing to the SA Senior Tour, where I was quite successful winning about 6 senior events.
